I just bought my first caan lord and was wondering how best to feed it. ie lights on or off? was type of food? thanks

Cyclops-eeze, coral frenzy, and spot feed them if you'd like. I tear little pieces of shrimp/scallop and spot feed with my fingers to each of their polyps/mouths. It's awesome! Something sps fans can't brag about lol.:D

You can feed em' at night or day. If I see their feeding tentacles out, that's when I usually like to feed em'.

I feed them a mix of Cyclopeeze and grated fresh oysters and clams. I usually feed them with the lights and the flow off.
Then I sqiurt the food into their polyps with a Turkey baster.
I usually feed them three times a week.

I usually feed mine mysis, or sometimes grated squid/shrimp mix. Mine seem to go for slightly larger particles than cyclops-eeze, which they don't seem to grab as sucessfully, IMO. I usually squirt whatever it is on the coral with a turkey baster.

I usually feed them with the lights on, when I'm feeding my fish, although the tentacles are much more extended at night.

nights with lights off with cyclops, sometimes brine if they catch it.

zepplin....what color is you V? ( I gots an 04 too:) )

does everyone rinse the frozen mysis or is that not an issue as far as increasing phosphates.

I rinse. I put the cube in a net under tap water, when its all thawed out, I gently squeeze the remaining water from the mysis and place them in a small container and mix it with some tank water. Then I use my dropler and feed. :D
