What do you guys feed your guys reefs???

I been jumping all around with all foods. Is rod's really any good?? Sounds like may be the best food. Seems like it has a little of everything

Maybe some one with long term exp. can tell us what the best food out there is.

i recently was reccomended rods and started using it a few weeks ago and my fish like it better than what i was feeding before...as far as it being the best i dont really know but my tank seems happier than ever

The only thing i saw is that nothing really wants to eat the octopus from what i can tell.

Its cool to see the clowns pick it up and take it to the carpet Anem

my tangs seem to eat anything thats in front of them...i havent seen them turn anything down...my clowns seem to be picky about the size of the food but thats about it...they will pick at the bigger pieces but the blue hippo will usually came take it from them...everything in the tank seems to like the rods

Rods! Great food that has everything in it. I fed exclusively with it. saw great results with ti.

The other way to go and will last you longer is make your own. Its expensive from the start but i have heard people making dozens of cookie sheets of it and then storing or selling it. They spent anywhere from $50-$80 to get all the ingredients: fish, oysters, clams, muscles, shrimp, kryll, oyster eggs, vitamins, phytoplankton, etc. It usually last them from what i understand anywhere from 6-12 months depending on how often they fed and bioload of the system. Rods usually lasted me 1 month at $20 bucks per=$240 to feed the system for a year not counting the shrimp and scallops to feed the nems. When you compare the costs saving to making it yourself, it is substantial. I will find the thread and post it if i find it.

i love rods food, but mine last me a whole lot longer than a month. maybe i don't feed enough, but i am sure i have had mine 2 months and i have only used have the sheet. sure looks like i feed a lot when i feed.
