Feeding whilst on holiday

Hi new to all this as my tank is only a couple of months old at most... I have only two clown fish and a skunk cleaner shrimp.. I am looking to get a dwarf angel fish within a few weeks...

I will be away for 4 days over Christmas and have read somewhere that you can add live brine shrimp etc to an old clean margarine tub with a small hole punctured in it to allow the shrimp to come out and then the fish to feed.

does anyone have any experience with this and will it last 4 days?

brine shrimp likely won't last that long in the tank. if you can get them on to pellets i have used the daily pill containers and pre-portioned food for relatives to drop in the tank. like this (but obviously full of fish food portions):

as others have said, for clownfish, 4 days without food shouldn't be that big of a deal. although i always like to have eyes on my tank when i go away.

the larger concern for that time span in my opinion, would be evaporation and changing of salinity. are you currently using an auto top off to maintain salinity in range?

Healthy fish will be fine without feeding for 4 days. Heck, it may be just the trick to help the picky little SOBs learn how to eat flake and/or pellets.
