Feeding with Garlic

Just wondering, i have tried a few health food places to get liquid garlic, as i don't want to pay 25 bucks for a small bottle. i have noticed gel caps with the liquid garlic in them for like 4 bucks for like 100 capsules. would this be okay if i cut the gel cap and extracted the garlic and soaked food this way? also, i am finely chopping up garlic cloves, getting a cup full of tank water and adding frozen mysis. how long should it sit/soak for before i feed.

I'm no expert, but what I do is get the gel capsules and puncture one end with a needle and squeeze out the juice. This is what I was told at my lfs. HTH!

good, it's alot cheaper than buying the garlic extreme. how long for soaking?

I'm not sure if I do it right or not, but what I do when I prepare frozen foods is to get a cup of water from the tank, put the food and the garlic in. Once the food has defrosted I put it all in the tank. Would love to hear if I'm doing that right!
