Feeding your LPS

Hope this is the right place to post this, I have been doing some reading here and there are a lot of people stating that they are feeding their LPS corals prepared foods or pellets.

My question is what kind of pellets are we talking about? Shrimp pellets like you use in FW for bottom feeders? or floating fish pellets or...?

I guess I am just confused on the whole process lol. Wouldn't think it would be that difficult.

Thanks!

I use hikari S pellets which float for a short time then sink. I just stick them in a cup and put some tank water in it. Suck them up with a baster, and target feed the ones I want to feed.

I also rotate and feed them some Nutramar Ova, Rod's fish food, Formula one flake omnivore, mysis and brine. I try to make sure theres a varied diet, just so there aren't any deficiencies.

try pouring sinking pellets down a couple linked together large slurpy straws. This is ideal way to target them. Also Fauna Marine makes an LPS pellet.
