Feeding ?

There are some nights when my Seahorses don't take much of an interest to food. Then there are other nights when they can't get enough. Does this happen to everyone else?

how often do you feed? if it's been at least a few hours, i would think they should at least initially take the food aggressively and then ignore it. if it's once a day, they should be gobbling it down (unless it's a male about to give birth). are there any other fluctuations in the tank environment? like temp etc?

I have noticed that if it is the first feeding of the day, they don't seem as interested in the food. they always seem more hungry if I have fed them a few hours before. Breakfast is always way smaller than dinner.
