How do you manage to dose two part and not have the pH probe go off the hook?

Transferring the probes to the display is an option - but option B.

I stopped using mine for that reason. didn't realize it was the dosing but it got out of whack so fast I didn't have time to keep calibrating it. I also don't have much interest in the ph of my tank since I feel monitoring other parameters are more worthwhile

Dose in small amounts throughout the day

I dose alk at 1.1ml/min 8 times a day for 4 mins when the lights are off

Never spikes my ph

I use mine for temp monitoring only. It also runs my lights, dosers and auto top off. I also have it dose hourly and I only bother to check alk and ca as my tank does well as long as these are kept up

Where is your pH probe in relation to the dosing tubes? Having the dosing tubes downstream of the probe can make all the difference.

My sump flows left to right, 3 chambers. pH probe in center, dosing tubes in last chamber where the return pump is.

because of this weird bioball chamber - I don't have a lot of room. So even placing the probe upstream from the doser isn't working.

hopefully this will get solved when my new return arrives.

Does anyone place them in the display or overflow?
