Female Anthias.

I have a male, and female Maldives anthias, but I lost the male yesterday due to carpet surfing.
My question is how long before the female start to turn into a male with her being by herself?
She will be alone for about 3 weeks before I will be able to replace the male. Dont want to end up with two males in the future.

IME, she wont change unless there are other females around. Usually when you have a group of females the dominant female will take over the males spot.
