Female Belleus Anglefish?

I have a tank full of stony coral with a few LPS. what do you think about adding this fish to the tank? it will be the only angel to a docile tank. any body have any experience with this fish?

What are the dimensions of the tank? Keep in mind that she may change to a male after a long period of being in a system with no male.

120g, the question is not the tank size but the compatibility with the corals.

I had a female bellus angel in my 120 SPS dominated reef with some acans. Never bothered anything. Peaceful fish.

Those are one of the totally reefsafe angels. I loved mine till she jumped on me I would recommend covering your tank. Wiz

I have had a pair since Jun '08. They have never bothered my LPS or SPS. Both still going strong.

Just wanted to check on the size, make sure you didn't have something super small you were going to cram her into. Sorry if it came off differently.

I have a pair in my 125 and they leave everything alone, though the male can be a little bossy with the other fish. As fish-wiz said, they are the only completely reef-safe angels, along with the other Genicanthus. If you want one and can find a healthy specimen or can QT and treat one, go for it!

Yes, they are totally reef safe but do require swimming room which is why the tank size question above. I have a pair that spawns nightly.

No Angel is completely reef safe, but to the OP, this is about as close as you are going to get; chances of coral destruction are pretty minimal if non-existent with these guys, although I have heard stories of specimens that have nipped as some softy type corals.
