On Friday I added a kole tang to my tank. Everything was OK for about a day, but last night I noticed my female clown chasing the tang. I checked back less than an hour later and the kole was all beat up. He has bite marks in his sides and his fins are shredded. I caught the clown and put her in my fuge.
I dont want to move the tang because im afraid any more stress will kill him. But my fuge is small and i dont think the clown will last there either. Im also afraid of damaging the relationship between the two clowns. The female just recently started letting the male sleep in the nem and they have finally started to act like a bonded pair so i dont want to keep them separated for long. Any suggestions on what to do? Is there any chance that if I let the kole heal and get settled in the tank I will be able to reintroduce the female and they will be able to work it out?
