feminine wrasse?

I was wondering the same! I think so, but really wish they'd show latin names in addition to the common names, makes it tough to know.

Too bad LA doesn't ship to you, Lemon :(

yeah :(

a real pity.

we've gotten feminine wrasses here before at a very very cheap price but only once and once only and it died after 3 weeks when my friend bought it.

anyway if it is indeed feminine wrasse, i'll be excited to see who gets it and definitely need some photos!!!

From said facebook page,

It's up and still for sale. I just cant justify 1300 bucks right now. Very, very tempting, but I just cant pull the trigger right now.

Whoever gets that fish is a lucky guy. I too am a bit surprised it is still there. The dusky butterfly that went up today was really amazing, too.

I am not surprised it is there at all. It is a tough fish, expensive, and survival rates on the fish long term are poor.

You have to have some major confidence to buy a 1300.00 fish that *may* not do well in your tank, may not survive, does not ship very well, etc.

Still they're rare enough that it seems there would be a short list of people looking for one. I don't think I even got to see the last one that went up, but maybe I'm misremembering. I do think those are perfectly good turn offs for most people, though.

I hope someone does snag it and we get to see it do well in an established reef, because that is probably one of the only aquariums that this fish would do well in. IIRC they also like LOTS of flow.

They are beautiful fish, too bad they can be so finicky
