Thank you, Greg! :)

As you may remember this tank was almost bare last year, it is finally stable again and things are looking on the bright side again. Now I will have more subjects to practice on... :D

The Green Acro looks great especially after almost dying kepp the pics coming what lens do you use?

I use few different lenses, mostly EFS 60mm macro from Canon. I have also 105mm from Sigma but I don;t use it as much. My other lens of choice for aquarium photography is Canon's 85mm f1.8, it is one of my favorite lenses for almost any photography, I just wish it was longer than 85mm at times... :D

Here's few more pictures, enjoy... ;)

Pardon the sea grass blade in this first image, I was too lazy to clone it out. :p

Gorgeous - are those pocillopora polyp bailout colonies growing at the top?

Hi Eli,
Thanks! :)
Yes, I have quite a few colonies that started from original via polyp bailout. I thought I was rid of it when I gave away the original but I was decieved... :D The only problem I have with this coral is that it is chosing to grow on top of powerheads or the return lines.

Oh, well...

One other thing that bugs me lately is the invasion of the alien hydroids that like to live on the Acroporids. I got two colonies plagued by them.

I almost forgot to add one of my favorite shots which I call "The new beginning..", I thought it was quite appropriate since the new life is starting from merely a speck of tissue attached to a blade of sea grass covered with coralline...
It's amazing what you can find while scaning with the macro lens. :D

Gene, I love the sea grass. Do you have to thin it out often? I've heard it can really overtake the tank.

I do thin it out now and then. I actually just removed a large runner from the sand that was producing lots of new plants. :)
I love it too but if you don't keep an eye on it( and conditions are favorable) those blades can easily reach a foot in lngth.., kind of makes taking pictures difficult. :D

As far as overtaking the tank.., I'm not sure. I have this sea grass for almost four years( I started with couple of small plants) and it does grow nicely but not anywhere close to Caulerpa( which I dislike very much).
