Figi leather

I recently bought a coral that was described as a Figi leather. It is a nice bright yellow leather that came attached to a nice size rock.It was under mh lighting in the store. My question is the first 3 days it opened up nicely under my mh(175 watt 10,000k ).But for the last 3 days it has been closed. It still has decent color and doesn't seem to be dying. It has high flow also.Anyone out there know about this type of coral.Any advice would help, thanks.

ps.still havent figure out how to post pics yet, hopefully soon.

Fiji Yellow Leathers are often described as being somewhat difficult to grow, but I've got two, started from different frags, that are doing well. They both were somewhat recalcitrant at first, staying closed and sloughing a layer of mucous, but soon came around. The second was slower to adapt than the first, since it wasn't attached, but when I was finally able to get him to attach, he has grown quite well.

I am keeping mine under 175 watt 10 000k and it is doing great. Keep giving it lots of flow and it should come around. Mine has a tone of flow.
