Fiji pink with high flow

Any issues with Fiji pink and high flow? I hear differing reports.

Also any issues with adding fresh caribsea Fiji pink bacteria added sand along with very established live rock and water? I will be setting up all at once and want to make sure the fresh sand doesn’t throw off the live rock.

It really depends on what you mean by high flow. The Fiji Pink had fairly small grain size (0.5-1.5mm) compared to Special Grade (1.0-2.0mm), so it will get blown around much easier than the Special Grade.

I personally like a wider variety of grain size in my sand. My current tank has West Caribbean Reef (1.0-5.0mm). The tank I'm going to upgrade to will have West Caribbean Reef, Special Grade and Natural Reef (3.0-5.5mm).

On the adding the live sand at the same time as the rock and water, there should be no issues.
