Film on glass (Bacterial method, VSV,vodka,Zeovit)

Hi all~

I want you to ask about film of glass.
Now I do not use Zoevit method and but MacroBacter7+Vinegar+Kalk(for PH)

I think Each Carbon dosing bacterial method is very similar and Zeovit is one of them like voka, VSV...so I think Overdosing sign is similar Especially film on glass (white, brown, green film)

I saw some post in RC but there are difference so I want to clarify this.

1. Green film on glass.
-->overdosing sign of trace elements / amino acids or higher nutrient concentrations

2. White Film on glass
-->Bacterial products "œnatural biofilm, bacteria based

3. Brown Film on Glass
--> Carbon source (start2) and amino acid overdosing sign.


I want you to fill your opinion in 1~3

1. Green film would be higher than nominal nutrient levels in the system. So yes adding more would be counter-intuitive.

2. Sounds right.

3. Brown film would signify possible diatoms? Maybe check your DI resin if it is after the RO unit. May need changing.
