filter feeder tank

I'm going to be setting up a filter feeder tank at school. What type of flow and filtering should I use. I'm just at the researching stage now. I imagine low flow so they can filter better? I'll be having some clams, turkey wings, feather dusters, oysters (maybe).

Also, do you think this could be done in conjunction with a seahorse tank?

I'm trying to do the same at home. I'm not an expert, but generally they don't need too much light and require relatively high flow, possibly directed into the mouth.

I think you may try connect this tank with seahorse tank at first, and, if filter feeders will look slightly worse than they were - add more flow locally. Mine are now in 6 gal tank with 160gph flow (not under direct blast, but not in the dead zone), and in 10g with AquaClear 30 and Whisper 10 HOB power filters, last solely for the flow.

You know about food supply for them, of course.
Here is recent thread about red tree sponge - it has similar requirements.
