i have a filter guys ocean reef + 1 system, I have not changed filters yet. It has been about 1 year and the tds still reads 2ppm(this varries to 5 sometimes) into last stage and 0ppm coming out. The filters seem to be holding up, should I change them anyway or wait for tds meters to read higher numbers first?? The corals and fish are doing fine.

You'll see a pressure drop if your sediment filter needs changing.
As long as your output tds is 0 you're in business, but I'd change the carbon blocks just to make sure you don't end up getting chlorine to the RO membrane, as that will ruin it, and if you get new carbon blocks you may as well spend the three dollars on a new sediment filter as well. I picked up extras of everything just in case I see problems down the road (I have the same system) and didn't figure I could go wrong with a 2nd DI for $35.
