After missing out on the CVR nylon sock group buy, i figure i'd put it out there and see if anyone up here in Sac is interested.

the only difference is that i think i'd opt for the 100 micron bag instead.

Ironic - I have been debating on doing a group buy on filter bags, but been too lazy to get off my arse. :lol: I did a group buy on filter socks a while back. They were the Polypropylene (?) felt 100 micron size 4 100 micron. The only complaints I had about the bags that I ordered was that the 100 micron clogged too fast. The felt was a pain to clean, so your mesh bag looks easier to clean. In addition, the 100 micron clogged too faster - so if I were to order again, I would go with the 200 micron rating.

If you get the larger micron rating, than I would consider getting some.

I prefer 100 micron, size 4 (like Karl). I'd rather get the 100 micron for more intense filtration, knowing I'd have to change more frequently.

Dang if we ain't a picky lot.

Tentatively I believe they will allow us to mix and match different standard bag sizes (those found on the website) in an order to fill 50 total. How many are people interested in? I'll probably take 5.

BTW - I emailed them about mix and match, and the answer was "The only way to order the bags is a 25pc minimum order per each different bag part number."

Sorry people, Minh was right, the filterbag.com people got back to me yesterday and said it was a minimum of 25 per bag size to get the order through. Funny because someone on CVR did a complete mix with less that that just about a year ago. Oh well.

$5.87 for NMO100P1P (7¼" x 16½")
$3.69 for NMO100P4P (4½" x 14")

Pleae note that this doesn't include shipping. In addition, I think they add $1.99 handling fee for order smaller than a case (50 of the same type of bags).
