You may also want to adjust your powerheads if they are the cause of your sand storm. Is this a new tank? Be sure to clean the sock often. Good luck!

B bloodwar New member Jul 30, 2008 #3 Thank you, No the tank isn't new, but I just removed my sand bed, going to give BB a try, there's still some sand that didn't come out when I vacumed the bottom. Bloodwar
