Filtration for a FOWLR Tank

For a FOWLR tank, what is the minimal amount of filtration I can get by with, in addition to LR?

Is just a HOB skimmer and/or a canister filter sufficient?

For the 90gal i assume? Get a Coralife Super Skimmer. They are cheap, HOB, and have great performance. get the 225 (its only 30$ more than the 125). Super clean water for way cheap compared to similar quality skimmers like ASM

i have an 80 gallon tank with about 100 pounds of live rock, 2 millineum 3000's and a red sea prism deluxe skimmer. my water is beautiful! dont skimp on filtration, its key in a healthy tank.

oh yeah, i forgot to mention i have messy eaters also, including 2 triggers and a puffer.
