Filtration

My 37 will have an ETS Reef Devil 3 downdraft skimmer in the sump along with the JBJ UV. The main tank will have about 30 or so lbs of LR.

What other filtration, if any do I need?

That'll work just fine, the more rock the better (more biological filtration) just throw a filter sock onto the feed into the sump and then you've got your mechanical.

For the UV to run efficently it is best if it is run inline with a water polishing device.

Yea, I know the sump version is a compromise but I wanted something for the sump and which was easily transportable if needed. The JBJ seems like a good fit.

Since I would have needed a pump anyway, I ended up ordering a Euro Reef RS80 cuz I didn't want to mess with tuning the RD3 again.

I also ordered another 30lbs of Marshall island rock from PA to add to the 10lbs I already have.
