Fin erosion

I've noticed over the 8 months that I've had my H. erectus, that, on two of the three, the pectoral fins are sort of tattered. Instead of being a nice smooth curve, they are jagged and a bit tattered. They are doing fine, swimming fine, eating fine, and seem healthy in all other ways. This has just been bothering me and I would appreciate any input or comments on the issue.
