Hi all,
I’m doing some research on the final fish for my 24g AquaPod. Up until this point I’ve been considering a Purple Firefish. However, I heard from someone at an LFS that they can become quite aggressive. Although all the reading I’ve done on my own points to the contrary I thought I’d ask the advice of those who have had some practical experience.
In the tank now I have:
2 Hermits (electric blue and red)
6 Astraea (though I can only find 5 at any given time, they like to crawl over the back and “clean up†my live rock rubble…)
1 Turbo
4 Margaritas
2 Nassarius
1 little bundle of caulerpa
1 little frag of neon green bubble coral
1 larger frag of assorted zoos and star polyps
1 cleaner shrimp
1 false perc clown
1 bangaii cardinal fish
1 white goby
Since the tank completed its cycle water parameters have been stable:
PH 8.2
Ammonia 0
Nitrates 0
Nitrites 0
Phosphate .1 - .2
SG 1.026
So, what do you think? Do you think a Purple Firefish would get along in my tank?
Do you have any other suggestions as well?
Thanks for the help!
