Hi I have a 46 gallon bowfront acrylic reef
reef octopus bh1000
aquatop canister filter
40 lbs live rock
40 lbs sand
1 cleaner shrimp
1 fire red shrimp
1 pistol shrimp(maybe dead)
1 pom pom (boxing) crab
10 hermit crabs
1 yellow tang
2 ocellaris clowns
1 orchid dottyback
1 flameback wrasse
1 randall goby
3 zoa colonies
1 torch coral
1 leather mushroom
3 zoa frags

How should I finish stocking what last fish should I get?
last inverts?
I will be getting a lot more coral over time, and plan on getting some porcelain crabs, what else do you guys think i should get?

Without the Yellow Tang, you are close to stocked as it is. Maybe 1-2 smaller fish, but not until the Tang is re-homed IMO.

The tang is 3.5" and hasn't grown for 8 months, It looks like a show piece tang really healthy so unless it begins to outgrow its home he will stay, I was thinking one more fish with these but it might be too much like your saying, what about like a little neon cleaner goby?
Thanks

A Neon Goby would be fine either way. However, if your Tang hasn't grown for 8 months, something is wrong I would say. I have quarantined 3" Tangs in a 46. They were ok in there for the 8-12 weeks, but what a difference once they went into my 6' 125.

Think the size of the tank may be keeping the tang small?

I QT'd my tang in a 55g and it was not very active. It moved to my 5ft 120g, and it was very active. I thought the tang police were full of it. Then it moved to my 225g, and uses every inch of that tank. In constant motion much more than when in the previous tanks. It also put on allot of weight and length in the larger tank...

Also: A neon goby would be a fine addition...

Well mine still seems active and healthy, I am not sure why he is slow to grow, but either way this summer I might get a job since there won't be school and replace my freshwater tank with a 125 gallon sw for more space.
Will the neon goby be safe with the orchid dottyback?

Active and healthy, but not growing???

The neon goby will be fine with the dottyback. It's much faster, and can hide in spots that the dottyback can't get to...

Yes. And the reason I ask is the dottyback took some bites out of the Randall before it found a safe place. My dottyback like to dig holes putting sand in its mouth and living under the rocks.
