I was over at Club Reef today and I bumped into Cesear the one who makes acrylic tanks. He told me that his business is going good and he purchased a trailer and all the equipment to go to peoples homes and remove scratches from Acrylic Tanks while they are filled with Fish and Corals. Something that is already needed on my 3 month old tank.

He is a great guy and he is the one that built and put in my coast to coast and corner overflow boxes. He also did a great job on my sump.

I remember seeing a post in the past of people looking for a local person to remove acrylic scratches, so I thought I would do a post about it.

His name is Cesear and his number is (480) 263-1570 . He is a great guy, very honest and he gets work done quickly.

lol the reason why another resurfacing/scratch repair is needed after just 3 months operational, besides probable lack of attention to detail while cleaning, is due to the fact that it wasn't done properly/very well the first time you sent it in.

As it was brought to your attention back then, from what I can remember about that [ ] system/situation before I ceased to continue consulting on/helping with it ... This is just one example, regarding this system, that will be far less than ideal in the future; to be blunt.

Now, you're relying on one of the worst necessary evils of scheduled maintenance you can do to your reef/systems inhabitants, in order to fix a problem that could've been easily and properly addressed while empty; IF "haste/disregard" wasn't a continual factor. Not something you want to be employing on a regular basis, despite what you may have heard/been told.

the process that Cesar uses is non toxic, my tank has been done several times with no ill effects that I'm aware of

Great service

Great service

Caesar and his partner Adam came out and buffed out my tank, and it looks great. Great service, and they spent a lot of time doing a great job, they were very detailed and professional. I would highly recommend these guys. My tank is empty, but he did say he has other processes for filled tanks.
