This is finally a decent picture of some zoos that I've had in the tank for some time. Looks to me like eagle eyes. Could anyone comfirm that for me?

What the difference by the way between a palythoa and a zoo?

Yup, those are eagle eyes :) Nice picture BTW. I don't know the technical, specific difference between palythoa and a zoanthid, but.. obviously a palythoa is usually larger than a zoanthid... I'll let someone else chime in.

Nice eagle eyes! Love the orange slit mouth :) Not sure as to the technical difference between palythoa and zoanthid but know that I've seen extensive information typed up about that very question here in the zoanthid forum.

palythoa incorporate sediment into their coenchyme sp?, which is the mat they are embedded in.

here's another one with the actinics on
I think I finally figured out how to set the camera
just right to get things properly into focus.

Really nice Eagle eyes they look amazing i always like the actinic look on zoas and well great picture too what is your tecnick to focus better?? im still studing my camara but i tend to not get good macro pictures.. (NIKON D70S 105mm micro lens the new one)...any tips??

without directly replying to your classification question, zoanthid refers to the group that includes zoanthus and palys...

here's some others in the tank I thought I capture, now that I seem to have some of the focus ability down. Not sure what these are as far as ID anyone have any insight?
