Finally got around finsihing my sump/refugium! (Few pictures included)

You may also have a problem with flow from you drain to your return because of the skimmer......looks like you are restricting the flow...it is taking up most of the space between the baffles...I remember I put a bag of carbon between the baffles and it restricted the flow and I had problems with my skimmer because of the water level not staying the same....like thesaent14 said the real test is to hook it up to your main tank and kill the power and see where your water level is

I think it will be a few days before I can do anything. I still need to make the pipes to run my return. Guess I know what I'll be working on tonight and tomorrow. WISHED I had a different skimmer as well now, this HOB isn't working too great.

I managed to mock up the return lines. Here are tons of pictures:

The return isn't hooked up right now, I have to go either buy loc lines or some sort of converter to make it fit with the u tube return I have already.

My mushrooms spliting, looks like its going to detach soon! Too many floater in my tank.

Looks good you may have to lower your pump on the skimmer....when I moved my old remora to the sump I had to add about 3" hose the the skimmer.........Look at there in sump model the pump is all the way down to the bottom of the slimmer......I never could get my remora to work good till I put a mag 3 on it

Is a mag3 bigger then the MJ1200? I was reading about how the mag3 will perform better then the MJ1200.

Much better but will not fit in you new sump.....twice the size
