Finally Got Some Corals (with pics)

I started my first tank 5 weeks ago. I have not added any fish yet but I'm fascinated with all the microscopic life and can watch the thing for hours. I almost feel like the microscopic stuff will, in the end, fascinate me more than the fish. I did get a couple of corals last weekend and wow, feeding time is so cool! Just wanted to show off a few pics.

I have had this coral from the start. He was a hitchhiker on my live rock. He has grown a lot and I'm happy he made it through the tank's cycle.

I'm thinking that last one is a Pavona (Pavona maldivensi) of some sort. I have one as a hitchhiker as well but I've never been able to narrow down what it truly is. This is as close as I can get. Maybe someone here will know.

I'm getting the itch now to get stuff in my tank after seeing these beautiful pictures. I especially love whatever is in the third and fourth pictures

 Love those corals! Great job!
I'd get the nice ones like Panova or the Bubble Corals if I could afford the Radion lighting they need! I have only a few mushrooms with some inverts under a Current Orbit Marine Pro lighting system. My fish love it and look great under it but I hate it!!
:sad2:

Nice start!

First one is protopalyanthoa muteki I think and hitchhiker coral is probably a species of oculina, very common on gulf rock.

Thanks. I'm going to go look Pavona up!

Did you just start your tank? I'm loving every step of the process! That third one a maxi-mini.

Cool! Thanks for clarifying. Now I'm going to go check those out.

Thanks! Why do you hate your lights?
