Finally its gone

The Ich is gone... the Ich is gone :rollface:

After 8 weeks of a fallow display tank and all my fish in QT the monster is finally gone. Never will I every put ANYTHING in my tank unless it has been through a QT. I have learned my lesson.

I did however have 4 causilties battling the ICH. Two jumped out of my QT (Blenny and wrass) and two were overcome by the ich in the beginning after they were moved to QT. One was a yellow tang, which was not big deal, but I lost my prized fish. It was a hybrid powder blue tang. :sad1:

congrats, i am in my 2nd week of hypo, what did you use to cure the ick?

Fist I spent a week and lotas of beer catching ALL of the fish iin my display tank. I placed them all into QT. After I caught all the fish is gradually lowered the salinity to 1.009 and started the clock after they was no visible signes of ich remaining on them. They were in hypo for almost 8 weeks.

You are absolutly right. I forgot to get the pictures together and post them. I will have them up within the next few weeks.
