Spent all day mixing salt water, and rinsing sand. Thought it would never end. But I'm pretty happy with the result, and the rockwork may change a little when I can see it better. Anyway, now the patience really comes into play, waiting for the cycle to begin and end. Then it's coral time! Here's some pics to tide you (and me) over.
And finally, one for fun... This is what I sold my original tank to complete. She sails really well, fast for a small boat, and very comfortable on long trips. It's been in everything from 0 wind up to around 20 mph winds, and up to 3 foot seas. Handles everything I can throw at her! Took a little over a year to finish (are they really ever finished?)
