Finally!!!!!!!!!

For the last 6 months my large anemone has been taking my reef tank hostage. Fish are disappearing, corals are getting stung, and yesterday I came home from work and seen my emerald crab claw hanging out from his underneath his arms. He has gotten so big that I have been debating on fragging him down to a more resonable size. I kept thinking sooner or later he is going to split on his own but he never did. I am in the process of upgrading to a 210 or I probably would have spliced him already. Then Finally today I came home from work and I am glad to say that I am now the proud papa of two anemones.

I ordered a bubble tip but because he has attached himself into the sand my friend believes it is a long tentacle. I just read an article though that said anemones will split under stress to increase their chances of survival. Should I now be worried something is wrong with him?

post some pics...if its a LTA then i would think that it is very rare for it to split on its own. hope its doing good.

I gave away one of the splits tonight and much to our surprise when we moved the live rock away we discovered it not only split but split into thirds.

This is of course before the split. Tank normally not such a mess but am currently upgrading to 210 and 90 has been getting neglected a little.
