I just finish installing them, it turned out to be a bigger job than I thought, I also installed moonlights on this tank and re-arranged the wires.
I installed 4-54w t5's driven by a Ice cap 660
I will take some pics and post them later on when the timer turn them on and I wake up!

Brian, comparing T5's vs VHO both driven with an IC 660, it is not much of a difference, however, once I added the parabolic reflectors on the T5's, the intensity of the light seems to "triplicates" at least IMO.
The lights just went on now, as soon as the corals are looking normal I will shoot a pic and post.

It is 75gal, I am using Geissmann bulbs; 1-AquaBlue plus, 2-actinic plus, 1-pure actinic.
I think it looks fantastic but my wife doesn't like it, she misses the shimmering effect of the halides, I must admit that it does have a liitle bit of a cold store like look, but that is what I wanted for this tank, the tips on the LPS's are glowing and the zoo's colors are very much enhanced.

These are the pics, keep in mind that it is hard to capture with a point & shoot camera the right colors on the tank cause of the blue lights, the tank actually looks brighter in person, shots were taken w/o flash.

Rogger Castells and bckane,

are you guys using any reflectors for the t5's? if so what kind?
Icecap T5 parabolic reflector
Bulbs:
ATI 2 x 54W 12000K Aquablue Special T5 HO Fluorescent
ATI 4 x 54W Blue Plus T5 HO Fluorescent

When I get the $$$ to do so, and I'm down from college for more than a week, I'm going to put IceCap SLR reflectors on my parent's 120g that has 4x54w. I've heard great reviews about them, and that they increase the PAR output by over 130% or so. After I get the reflectors (using parabolic now) I'm going to do the IC 660s. Good luck with the new lighting setup!
