Finding clown a mate

I have a gold strip maroon clown in a bubble tip anemone. He/she is about 2.5 inches and doing really well.

My question is this. How can I pair the clown up with another one? Does it have to be a gold stripe maroon clown? I assume it should be much smaller in size.

Any help, greatly appreciated.

I would stick with a maroon. Maroon's are agressive, and I'm not sure any other species will be able to handle the break in period.

Also, make sure the anemone is big enough to handle another maroon. Maroon's tend to love their anemone to death if the anemone is too small.

get a smaller one.the one you have should be a female. i dont think you should get the "smallest maroon you can find". I would think that you would want one bigger than 1".
