Finding my zoos

i had about 14+ polyp zoo frag on a rock.. it somehow moved.. how do i find it??

i tried looking all around my tank.. how do you recover lost corals without removing all items in tank?

First you need to get a mantis shrimp. He will look for snails with black and white stripes. After he takes a peak inside the snail, your zoos will be free! free!

In reality anything could have happened, but I would guess a snail or slug made a quick meal out of them.

Hmmmm i dont think corals move on their own, i could be wrong, your better looking for the guilty party that munched on them

Is the rock gone too?

I've had unsecured frags go flying around at night. A snail bumps them unstable, then the flow takes them for a ride.

You may need tongs, etc depending on your aquascaping and where you find them.

by move, i mean it was not attached properly to the rock. it was loose and fell somewhere...

I read in another post somewhere that a guy found a bunch of his missing frags( now just empty plugs) in a cave where a hitchhiker crab was living. Maybe that is your issue?

I found mine by taking another colony of zoas and put them in the location of the missing colony. Let them drop and see where they go to.

try following the flow in the tank, it's probably in a corner behind a rock.

found it.. fell 2 rocks below under another coral.. haha
