finger leather, polyps gone?

i bought a finger leather about 1 wk ago and the leather was doing fine. for a couple of days now the polyps have not come out. please advise thanks

if parameters are in check and no other corals are seeing signs of stress... it may be shedding a layer of skin. i have a finger leather that will do this from time to time. if that is the case a blast from a turkey baster will speed up the shedding process.
