I just moved to my new apartment and i am planning to build a cubish tank.Ive been looking around and i like these 2 tanks for there look and mini-wetdrys.Since i live on the 2nd floor im trying to avoid a sump and trying not to go over a 30g tank.Im planning to keep some sps, blastos, acans, ricordia and maybe some softies.I wanna purchase a 20" 150w metal halide fixture. My ?'s are if i get a 14,000k bulb do i need actinics? And does any1 know about a 20" fixture that comes with actinic t-5s or PC's?or should i just retrofit some kind of hood since i am also planning in building the stand?

Thanx

If you dont want to worry about water all over the floor also try checking out the TruVu 25 awesome tank but expensive im running a 150watt Sunpod on mine and love it :) Only downside, will not really in your case is its a oddball size so you will need to build the stand

what do you think of the aqua medic M.H light and oceanic maple stand made for the 30g cube?the dimensions are the same as the aquapod, but how about the finnex cube tank?

I am now intersted in the perfecto 37g cube column tank thinking 250w mh in a vented cap wit fans, ideas? This gives me room for more coral growth n fish. I will try and rig up ome kind of sump with a nice P.Skimmer and strong pump with a valve for good flow and sps needs.
