FailureS, yes with an 's' ...
I once had a small fleet of 50w Finnex titanium heaters to run my tanks.. all small stuff, 30g reef, 10g frag tank, 5.5g nano.
These heaters are all under 2 years old. The first failed at less than a year old... I chalked it up to just a random failure. Bought another 50w Finnex heater to replace it.
Had another one fail about 6 months ago. Just had another one fail today!!
So, in about the course of a year, I've had 3 failures of an identical model heater... Finnex 50w!! Wow. I've since started using an AZOO? brand titanium heater (from DF&S) and it's actually a fairly decent heater. My 30g tank runs with 3 50w heaters, but now I'm down to 2 heaters which are maintaining for now, but barely. That's what's nice about running multiple smaller heaters rather than 1 large, because they WILL fail. Anyway... blah blah blah
If you're using Finnex heaters, be careful. Anyone else experience multiple failures on Finnex products?
