Usually confused...
Had never been to this store, but at a going away party at my former job, I was given a gift certificate to the store. It is not too far from me (at least it isn't Tempe!).

Store was clean, tanks looked clean, fish looked healthy (except for one tang scraping himself on the bottom of the tank.) Tanks appear to be on separate systems. (One group of tanks was blowing bubbles, but none of the other ones. A quick addition of water made that stop).

Service was awesome, very helpful and personable. I was the customer all LFS hate (looking forever, asking lots of questions). Went and got a reference book, and showed me the answers to all of my questions. Prices seemed fair.

My gift certificate bought two fish, and I bought three packs of frozen food to make it a decent purchase for their efforts. I was completely surprised when they packed the food in a small Styrofoam container with an ice pack. They bagged the fish with lots of water, lots of air, and had an extra styro box to put them in, too.

No affiliation with them, just wanted to recognize an LFS that seems to be doing it right for us Phoenix folks!

I live in the neighborhood so it's really convenient for me to go there. They're always really nice, and a few times when I was looking for a dry good that they didn't stock, he both gave me a good price, and he ran to the distributor and got it the same day.

I've been there several times and have had good experiences also. I was looking for Blue Sympodium and they didn't have it. They took my name and number and when it came in, Mark called me to let me know it was there.

Same story here. Except this was my first time in, he didn't know me and gave me an Internet competitive price and went to wholesaler same day! Fish selection was avg but husbandry was pretty good when I was there. I just remember the gentleman and his (presumed ) wife were both knowledgeable and friendly.

I'm glad to see that they took good care of you. I always go there but I am partial, Mark and Lisa are family. Each set of 4 tanks are on separate systems, the 220 is separate and so is the Cardiff.

I love this place. The owners are awesome, their fish are always healthy, and the prices competitive. It is in my regular rotation of LFS to visit.
