fire alarm neer tank

ok we were cleaning our oven and the fire alarm when off. well their is one right next to the tank i cant even stand next to the tank its so high pitched. its been going on for about 7 mins now what should i do

Use a towel to fan the fire alarm so it stops or hit the reset button.
