Fire fish has wound on its side

I have 2 fire fish and 2 bengai on day 10 of ttm. This is the 4th transfer with prazipro on #2 and this one. When I brought them home I noticed a gray spot on the right side of one of the firefish. I thought it was just discoloration. Today while feeding it looks more like a wound. I have not seen any fighting. I took a video and you can see a good profile shot at 20 sec mark. How should I treat it and what to do with the other 3? They are all eating normal.

I googled some info and could be uronema although no struggle breathing and is eating. Should I do a formilin or Chloroquine dip when I transfer to the qt? Should I dip all 4 fish or just the wounded one?

It could be something else. I had a fridmani dottyback that came down with an ugly ulcer on its side and at some point it was a deep hole. The fish never showed any discomfort or other signs of disease so I left it alone.
After about a month it started healing and another month later the hole was gone and never came back.

Sometimes the best you can do is to be patient and do nothing but give the fish ideal conditions and feed it well.

Without a definitive diagnosis to what is causing this it is hard to make the right decision.

What do you have on top of the tank? Recently my firefish had a similar looking wound and I'm pretty sure it was a result of her trying to jump out of the tank and smashing into my canopy (I saw it happen). It's a week later and it's gone

I have eggcrate on top but the wound site was a gray blemish 12 days ago.

This morning the area has fuzzy cotton around it. Bacteria infection?

I'm going to start with melafix and nls Thera a food. I read about cleaning the area with peroxide and using bio-bandage powder on the wound but it's hard to find the product locally.

Having caught fish TB once in the past , I would suggest wearing gloves if you have scrapes or open wounds...juuuuuust in case.

Well the fish died this morning. I did a tank transfer last night and decided to swab the wound with peroxide. I was surprised that the skin was puffed up like a blister and stiff. I now realize this was a mistake because when I put him back in the tank he had trouble moving his back end. I dosed the tank with melafix. This morning he was struggling on the bottom and died. When I removed him from the tank the wound was deep and wide. I'll keep the other 3 in qt for another week. They seem healthy now. Thanks for everyone's input.
