fire fish tank mates

hello,

im planning my next tank at the moment and would like to have a small group of firefish.

i would like to know if they are incompatible with any of the other fish i am considering.

the tank will be a 180 gallon reef (not including sump)


occelaris clownfish

royal gramma

six line wrasse

mcCoskers flasher wrasse

blue tang

yellow tang

kole tang

flame angelfish

court jester goby

lawnmower blenny

bi-colour blenny

mandarin dragonet


i will not be adding all of these fish. they are just some of the candidates i am considering.

will any of the listed fish be incompatible with the fire fish? i am mostly worried about the tangs being to boisterous for them

I actually have the same question, I have a Fire fish and a Yellow Watchman Goby. They are in separate Tanks, but can you combine them?

Overall I think your list looks ok. The only thing that may bother them would be the clown.... maybe? Just because they can be kind of territorial. In a 180 it should be ok

I have two Purple Firefish, a Royal Gramma, Lawnmower, 6-line, and two small Clowns right now together in a 135. Just started adding them slowly about 4 months ago. So far all seem to be behaving together, but it's pretty early still. Can't speak for the other fish, no first hand experience with them yet.
