fire shrimp molting?

This is for those who have or are familiar with Fire Shrimp..... How often does your Fire molt its skin? I have had mine for like a month or a month and a half and last night it shed its skin for the second time. He is perfectly healthy looking so should i not be worried and assume he is just a fast grower? also what to do with the molt itself? i have read to leave it in the tank and someone will eat it for the nutrients in it or should i scoop it out?

thanks in advance

mine molt in waves...we have 6 fire and 2 cleaner shrimp..and it seems like as soon as one starts...they all strip!
there really is no rhyme or reason to the timeframes that i can see
sometimes 2 times a month, then go for 2 without...
but it will be interesting to see if someone knows!

I wouldn't be alarmed. Once every 3 weeks or so isn't uncommon in my experience, although does seem like a lot to the uninitiated.

changes in Alk or pH can cause molt on shrimp and some crabs. is anyone finding them (molt) the day after a WC? it also makes them weaker and lowers their immune system when they frequently molt. it takes alot of vitamins and minerals to harden their shells.

ok well it seems the first 2 molts came roughly 2-3 weeks appart and he seems very healthy so i am not gonna worry.... now take the skin out of the tank or let the fish and snails deal with it?
