Hi all,
Two days ago I noticed that my fireshrimp's front half has faded in color, like the colors of molted shell. I've been target feeding him the last two days but dunno if the problem was caused by him not eating enough. I remember previously, like 2 weeks ago, he started to not really scurry out when I'm feeding the tank. I figured he would scavenge for food so didn't think anything of it. But now, I'm worried that there may be something else wrong with him or the tank.
Some other info on the tank:
1. Two hermits (not scarlet or blue legged..just sorta ugly brown ^^) have been added probably 3 weeks ago. I think they've killed my blue legged hermit even though the blue was larger than them
Could they be harrassing my fireshrimp?
2. I have a hair algae problem. Getting a sea hare this weekend. Could the hair algae be effecting him?
3. Other water params seem to be okay despite the algae. My tank is warmer than most (I think) usually running about 81degrees, but it's always been like this. Not sure if the heat is finally taking a toll on the poor guy.
4. My fireshrimp sorta runs away from the pipette now >.< I try to put it near him to allow him to get first dibs on food. Before, he'd scurry to the pipette.
