I have had a purple firefish and an orange firefish in my 72 gal tank for the last year together with no problems. They get along great. Suddenly last month they decided they really like each other and began living in the same hole together. If you look in the hole with a light you can even see them lying next to each other. Is it possible for two different firefish to pair up? Maybe lack of options.
