I followed the firmware upgrade instructions in the manual. I found the manual well written until the very end of the process then it left you hanging.
The first time I got the Red/Blue Communication Error at the end. What then? So I unplugged the sending unit. Mistake. The sending unit would then boot up, but when it got to the white light the unit stopped working. I gave up and went to bed.
This morning, the sending unit worked fine after boot up. What happend? Could it be the stuff in the memory needed to clear after shut off like computers?
I tired the upgade process again. I got the Green/Yellow light: Success! What next? So I unplugged the sending unit. Same problem. It would go though boot up, white light, then just stop. So I knew, just wait an hour. Sure enough, it now works just fine.
Is that normal?
I just think you ought to put some warnings about it the manual.
