I put it higher in the tank and all my par. are perfect. My LFS told

me to buy a 10k daylight quad pc for my tank and they should do

great with that. Right now I have 2 quad 50/50 pc's. Thanks for

I would take your LFS's advice with a grain of salt by the way..its not terribly bad advice but their advice certainly is not good advice.

look to RC for advice....skip the advice at the LFS in most cases(at least the 3 or 4 in my town are clueless)

I have trust in my LFS, they are really friendly and know what they are doing. I never ment that whole experiment thing was there idea, it was all my idea to jump into SPS and they told me fully what could happen and without the proper lighting and I understand that. I have read that people have pulled it off with great success so we will see over time what happens. If at anytime it starts to rapidly decline I will take it out. Thanks again for everyones help.

it's bleached, move it down

bleaching is'nt necessaily caused by intense lighting
bleaching can also be caused by the zooanthelle (spelling)algae in the coral being expelled because it's not getting enough light .

Some updated pics,

It lost a little of the blueish color. I hope it starts to come around. My first jump into SPS with alot of confidence and I just feel horrible that its not doing well. My water par. are good, I guess I will be playing the waiting game. I kinda wish I hadn't even bought it now.
