I would just shut off the flow in your tank. Then set it in there where you want it to. In about a half hour turn on your flow. Then watch your RBTA go where it wants to go to be happy.

lol thats about all you can do. Shut most of your flow off overnight.

oh ok, I see I did that and now its stuck to a snail. will it let go?

it will let go...just watch. I placed mine by a crevice and it stayed there (lucky me). Just make sure you cover your powerheads.
