So this will be my first one that i have posted on a forum im going to go threw the whole set up and the things i like and the things i think i should have done different. With pics.
So the tank is just your standard 75 gallon tank i got it from the LFS for building him a 125 gallon tank stand.
Black trim regular glass.
I painted the back black and got a black over flow from the LFS
I welded and painted the stand out of 1 1/2 square tubing( way over built)
After i had the stand welded i decided to do a smaller frag tank on the side of it.
One thing i wish i would have done was to do the stand to the whole width of the tank and frag tank. I would have had a lot more room under the stand for more stuff.
But this is what i did insted.
Here is the pic of the frag tank its about 14 gallons 3/4 inch acrtlic. i love the way it looks.
I wish i would of have a small over flow made for this but i have the screen on the bulk head witch works just fine. I just think the black over flow looks a lot better.
Next is the sump.
I got the sump from the LFS. Its an all glass black trim 50 gallon. It already had baffles in it and was ready for water and it was only $50 so i jumped on it.
I was showing a friend the water flow because i was having trouble wrapping my head around where to put the skimmer and everything.

Return pump for frag tank is a sirrca(spelling?!?!)
I habe a heater in there for the whole system
Reef octopus 150 classic
Phosban reactor with GFO
Will be adding another one for carbon maybe
Livestock
I have a bunch of live rock in the system in the sump and DT and 2 small pieces in the frag tank
Live sand
Crabs and snails
File fish
Small yellow tang
Small black clown fish
2 yellow watchman gobys
Had 2 perc clowns but one disappeared the day i got them and one died a few days after that one i don't think they where from a good stock because 2 of my buddies got them from the same group and they all died also.
I also have a bunch of different coral.
I have a 29 gallon that i upgraded from and im making that the display refugium.
I had an accident and i overdosed nopox one night and the next morning all the fish where dead and I almost cried.
Its not hooked up to the 75 right now but that will happen in a few weeks ill try to post a video when its all set up and go threw the system.
