First Clam Pic

After much research here and in many books, I finally decided to dive in and purchase a clam. It's a Crocea clam I found at the LFS I frequent (Tropical World in Newburgh, NY)
It was light lavendar when I purchased it. They were keeping it under MH 20K lighting.
It has colored up considerably and is not a blueish/purple color, although I'm not sure my picture captures the color very well. It's around 3.5 inches. I culture my own phyto and I'm looking forward to watching it grow:) My lighing info is below my signature.

Thanks to all here for all of the great info over the last year and a half that I've been lurking and posting here.
Also thanks to the LFS guys (Bruce and Jay) for their advice and for watching me hover over this thing for like a month before I purchased it!:D

Thanks guys!
I took while before I was able to get it to park itself and attach onto the rock. Once it was attached I was able to move it up in the tank and then it really started coloring up!
