First coral

Hi, I picked up my first coral today, a finger leather, at least i pretty sure thats what it is . I'll get some pics up when the lights are on, but quick question... is it normal they shrink when the lights are off?? I know this was answered somewhere before but I can't find it.

ya its normal, they do that at night all the time. And they get ticked off pretty easy too.

Those little flower things on the corals fingers were not on there when i first got it, what does that mean??? When i first had it, it was smooth now it has those.

That what its supost to look like. Just means its happy.

that is a good sign, those are the corals polyps
